Word on the web is that King Diamond has hinted that there is a real good chance we will see a new Mercyful Fate album in the not so distant future. I know Mercyful Fate and King Diamond himself are not for everyone, but i give this 2 thumbs up! Just more stuff to look forward to.

Well, for a little bit of celebrity birthday news today. the God of F**k, Marilyn Manson is turning 40 years old today. Doesn’t it seem like just yesterday that good ole Brian Warner busted out on the national scene like an obscene bomb with the still good to listen to Anti Christ Super Star? Him turning 40 kinda makes me feel old now that i turn around and look back behind me at the the high school days. He was huge in my junior and senior years…now he is 40. Happy Birthday God of F**k….Happy Birthday.

Back in one of my very first posts I highlighted on one of my native Tennessean bands, Toxic Fuzz. Well, they have posted up a new video from their New Year Eve show at Capalanos in Mcminnville Tennessee. Its a fan filmed video of their tune Death March(if video is not working, click HERE).  This really is a high quality, high energy band that is real fun to see at a good bar. Check out he video and see what you think, give them an add on Myspace and go out to town and give them a watch in person if you ever get a chance. Good band and good guys to hang out with before or after the show. They also have several songs up for listen on their Myspace page as well so if the video doesn’t do it for ya, go listen to the recorded version of the tunes. Go ahead, try something new today.
