Possible New Music From Carcass. The Future Is Looking Good For Us All.
Well, the economy is in the crapper, the Middle East is getting closer to ruining the entire world with every passing second and Fall Out Boy is still a big deal. I know that things look bleak right now but there is the possibility of a new Carcass record in the near future. The band hasn’t released an album since 1996’s Swansong but recently re-grouped for reunion tour dates that will bleed over into 2009. Front man/bassist Jeff Walker says he is only waiting on confirmation/commitment from guitarist Bill Steer. Steer has been a little non committal in saying there will definitely be a new recording but has hinted that it is a strong possibility. We can only hope. If we could find the year of 2009 giving us new Napalm Death, Morbid Angel and Carcass then there is complete hope for everything to get better. Keep the fingers crossed because with all the other major releases hitting the scene in 2009, Carcass could really put this on the map as a classic year for metal all together. Anyways, keep on the lookout for any more news on this. Could be cool.
